Founded in 2002, CareerPost is a Canadian job board designed and constructed by professionals in the staffing industry. The goal of this site is to provide an economical alternative in bringing Canadian companies of all sizes together with talented individuals.
The high cost of internet based
job boards provided the springboard for the creation of our
site. Placing ads costing upwards of $700 on major job
boards are considered a cost of doing business for staffing
firms. However, we did realize that there are many smaller
companies who had staffing needs and could not afford
recruiters or the high cost of job boards.
CareerPost was
developed to service this niche market. As staffing
professionals we know where to advertise and market in order to
drive traffic to the CareerPost site. Our goal was to allow
smaller companies an opportunity to place ads at a fraction of
the price and obtain results through our targeted marketing
efforts. The results were very informative!
Not only did we reach our goal in having smaller companies
utilize the site but we noticed many larger companies were
taking advantage of CareerPost and repeatedly posting their
needs. We have concluded that CareerPost provides "value service" regardless of the operations size. We are dedicated in developing
